 Nissan Closes Order Books For 2022 GT-R In Japan, Remains Coy On R35’s Future

The 2022 GT-R in Japan can no longer be ordered as Nissan has announced the official closure of its order books.

In Japan, only the T-spec and Nismo versions of the GT-R were released for the 2022 model year. These models were also briefly offered in Australia before being discontinued by Nissan. In the United States, the GT-R Premium and GT-R Nismo are still available as 2021 models.

Nissan’s Japanese website has recently announced that the sales for the 2022 GT-R have been closed due to reaching the expected sales volume. This means that the car is in high demand and has successfully achieved its targeted sales goal.
